What you will achieve

Gain Control Over Overwhelm And Worry
Learn mindfulness techniques to understand the relationship we have with our own thoughts, moment by moment, and how we can choose our attitude more often than we may realise. Real examples that the group will work with include overwhelm, distraction and worrying.
Break Unhelpful Stressful Work Patterns
Develop the ability to use mindfulness to bring awareness to the patterns in your work life that may hold you back and/or generate stress (for example, having unrealistic expectations of yourself, or tendencies toward procrastination and perfectionism).
Handle Emotions And Stress Calmly
Practise effective ways of identifying and handling emotions, and improving your ability to respond rather than react in stressful situations; time will be spent on techniques to improve the impact that self-talk has on difficult situations.

Suitable for anyone, this is a series of 8 weekly training sessions (2 hours each) designed to enable people to bring the benefits of mindfulness into their work life.
