John Beavis, Organisational Development Consultant
John’s coaching and development expertise stems from nigh on two decades spent in the military sphere where he coached and mentored in a variety of assignments and settings. These ranged from senior leadership roles within key strategic operations, such as the 2012 Olympic Games security operation, as well as professional training, assurance and international experimental research projects. The most common challenge that John faced was the need to “Do more with less,” to get the best performance from his teams and successfully achieve the full scope of the mission. This led him to incorporate coaching and development as a key facet of the leadership function, enabling him to drive individual performance and optimize organisational capacity, amidst shifting scope and diminishing resource.
As well as his coaching portfolio, John has a range of associated Masters Level qualifications – including Executive Management and Executive Coaching & Mentoring – and is fully committed to continuous professional development. Upon retiring from the military domain, John chose to pursue his passion for coaching and development and has worked in the UK, USA and China with clients in the corporate, public and NGO sectors. John’s vision is to couple leadership experience with coaching expertise to deliver effective executive development.
