New resilience programmes for 2023

Sometimes the strength within you isn’t a fiery flame that all can see, it’s just a tiny spark that whispers softly: “You got this, keep going”.

Resilience is generally defined as: “the ability to recover from setbacks and adapt to challenging circumstances, and is required to thrive and flourish”.

It’s a foundational psychological tool that empowers us to feel effective and capable of handling uncertainty – due to the pandemic, this is needed more than ever before. Despite this definition, there’s been discussion about what the essence of resilience really is, e.g. is it a quality, skill or personality trait? Is it genetically determined or taught?

Regardless of the exact nature of resilience, the current thinking is clear. We can all develop and improve our resilience. Experts confirm that resilience is a quality and a skill that can be enhanced, yet requires effort and consistency.

Because this is especially crucial for professionals who are balancing multiple priorities (often in a remote world), we’ve created two programmes based on the latest thinking in the fields of Positive Psychology, personal development, behavioural science and mindfulness.

Bring these programmes into your organisation

We don’t believe that a completely off-the-shelf approach is the most effective way to engage people and enable them to learn.  Your return on investment is always greater when development is specifically aligned to your organisation – your culture is unique, your people are unique and your challenges are unique.  Therefore, we would typically tailor some of the materials in these programmes for each client to take account of their uniqueness.

It goes without saying that we’d love to bring these resilience programmes into your organisation. As with everything at Incendo, we make things as simple as possible – once you’ve decided to proceed, we’ll have a meeting to confirm a manageable schedule of modules so that your employees gain the results you’re looking for, as quickly and effectively as possible. If you’re not sure if Incendo is right for your workplace, have a look at our client testimonials.
