As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light of meaning in the darkness of mere being.
We see organisational development as a holistic approach to ensuring that organisations – and the people that make up those organisations – are equipped to adapt, engage and thrive in an ever-changing business environment. Our preference is to work in partnership with you to understand the challenges and opportunities that your organisation faces now and in the future, and to identify potential interventions to help move things forward – with the ultimate goal of increased performance.
Typically, we structure our OD work using a sequence of four distinct phases that we’ve developed into a model we call D4E, which is described below.
Establishing the ‘need’ with you and other stakeholders, exploring the readiness for change and contracting to agree the outcomes.
Data collection, analysis and feedback. Obtaining information through interviews, surveys, observations and other diagnostic methods; analysis of the resulting data, followed by preparation of reports and presentation of the findings.
DESIGN & DELIVER
Implementing a sequence of relevant, change-orientated interventions that will contribute to positive organisational improvement; this phase might include leadership development activities, coaching, mentoring, learning programmes, team development sessions and change workshops.
Working with you and other stakeholders to assess the extent to which the intervention activities achieved the goals that we agreed at the start of the consultancy project.
